What I’m like
I am a natural light photographer, which means that I find the best outside location (except for newborns & babies) that has the best, soft, natural light that will illuminate your portraits. The most desirable light is early in the morning or late afternoon/early evening. We will determine the time that will fit into these criteria.
I want your session to be relaxed, fun time for everyone. Children are active and life is fun. And I try to capture both of those things in my style of photography. With kids, will chase them around and capture their movements and excitement. Some of the “on the go” shots are the best ones. I love the unplanned moments of kids being kids, or the senior fixing her hair, the little boy playing with sticks and baby giving mom a kiss. Know that this will be a fun time that I have the opportunity to join your family for just a short moment and catch the essence of your life!
I have been photographing for six years. Also, I am the photographer and graphic designer for The Crazy Dazy. I love what I do there and I get to use my creativity to showcase our products that we love and that make children happy. Check out our look at thecrazydazy.com.
About Me
You might be wondering a little about me and sometimes I wonder at little about me as well! I wonder why I’m so blessed, but I do know that I want to use my blessing to bless others.
First of all, I am a daughter of the King! This journey that I’m on is to glorify Him in all that I do. Next, I am married to my best friend and we are enjoying this journey and we are in this together! I have two wonderful little boys (three if you count my husband) that brighten up my life. They are my inspiration for what I do. My favorite thing is to capture their personalities and decorate my home with their smiles (or their un-smiles courtesy of my littlest one.) My oldest who is almost six started my love of photography. I wanted to grace my home with his personality and let me tell you he is ALL personality. And I was not happy with the big box stores and how his portraits looked. So that began the start of Celestial Seasons Photography.
What is in a Name?
You may wonder where Celestial Seasons comes from. I’m glad you asked. My name means “Heavenly” taken from the word Celestial. Some day we will meet on God’s Celestial Shore, but until then we can see the Heavenly moments that are in our life, the seasons of life that seem to pass by too quickly. You can see those moments in wet baby eyelashes, big blue eyes that melt your heart, a child’s smile that makes everything in the world right. These are the “Heavenly Seasons” that I want to be able to capture for you so that you can cherish them in your home forever.
